UHWO hosts an annual networking event that invites local business and cyber professionals to talk story with students. The event’s layout was key to its success (this is different than a career fair). Students and professionals are strategically placed on round tables at a 2-1 ratio, respectively. Every fifteen minutes, students are asked to move to the next table, giving each student a chance to talk to about 15 professionals throughout the three-hour event. During the talk-story session, students followed the guided questions located at each table, and employers had the opportunity to ask questions.
