CPA
Certified Public Accountant

UHWO offers a CPA prep course (ACC 480). The course is typically offered every summer for 12 weeks and will help guide you through the applying, studying, and taking of 2 actual CPA exams. The course also gives students scholarships towards study material; some obtain 50% discount on study material through Becker or Wiley, saving around $1,500. CGFM 
Certified Government Financial Manager

CGFM is a professional certification awarded by AGA (American Government Accountants). CGFM is a respected credential that recognizes the specialized knowledge and experience needed to be an effective government financial manager. Being a CGFM allows you to expand your career opportunities and distinguishes you from others in your field.
 
The AGA Hawaii Chapter has the most current versions of the three study guides, in which members can borrow!

CMA 
Certified Management Accountant

CMA is a professional certification in financial accounting and strategic management. Institute of Management Accountants offers a scholarship to those that want to take the CMA.
